The Planning Department, which is actually
headed by the Planning Officer, is responsible for the planning functions in the Township
and for exercising the development control aspect with regard to land development. It has
the overall responsibility to ensure that the issue of permits is done effectively and
efficiently.
The services offered by the Planning Department
are :
Processing of building and land use permit.
Issue of building and land use permits.
Issue of clearance certificates.
Updating of cadastre.
Processing of direct sales and sales involving
Excision / Division.
